New Year, New Adventures...

Well we started the year off right, we cleaned out our garage - HAH!! I don't know why if feels so good to get rid of things, but a simple uncluttered life just feels so good. We have decided to put our house up for sale in the next couple of weeks so we have been cleaning out many closets and drawers, you know the things that when normal company comes over they don't see, but when you are selling your house they open up :)
We would like to be able to move closer to Carter's school and where they participate in most of their activities. But as I told our real estate agent, We love our house and if we could pick it up and move it we would, so in this market if we can sell it for a good price great!! But we aren't willing to give our house away and sell it with no return on our investment. If that is the case then we will probably just keep driving a little further because it wouldn't be too smart to move to a much smaller house (or acquire a lot more debt) just to be 10 minutes closer to things. - right?!?!
It has been so wonderful though to clean EVERY closet and corner of our house. It is so very nice to be able to walk into any room in your house and know there is no junk piles or things that need to be put somewhere else. I am ALMOST done, all I have left is a little bit of the laundry room and one small closet (Chris has NOT done his work room though and that is a WHOLE other story entirely , which I am NOT touching and for those of you who have seen it you know why!!!) Today we filled Chris' truck entirely full with trash that he took to the dump. It was so full he had to strap it on so it wouldn't fall out (man was I glad I didn't have to be seen with him :)) Monday, The Foundry is coming to get everything else that wasn't trash but that we aren't keeping.
Starting off fresh in 2010!!! I will post some of our other upcoming adventures soon. I promise to be better about my blogging this year.
